Malt Extracts
Malt in concentrated form makes homebrewing a lot easier. Plain malt extract (un-hopped) is simply the results of the mashing and sparging process with most of the water removed. Extract syrups in tin cans contain about 15% water and remain fresh for 18 to 24 months. Dry malt extract, sometimes called DME, contain less than 3% moisture and can be properly stored for up to 4 years.
The lightest colored brewers grade malt extract available. Use it alone for light-colored beers, or with specialty malts to brew beers of all styles. It is excellent for boosting gravity and yeast propagation. Ingredients: Pilsen Malt, Carapils® Malt. |

Briess CBW traditional dark dry malt extract is a dry, 100% pure malt extract made from a blend of base and wheat malts. It can be used in the production of extract wheat beers, and in the production of all grain beers to adjust color, flavor and gravity of wheat and other styles of beer. |
This specialty extract is made by using traditional multiple step mashing process to achieve higher levels of fermentability. It is made from 50% Munich Malt and 50% Base Malt to produce a very rich, malty, amber extract.
